Lisa Labrado spent a lifetime in PR, working in many different industries before falling in love with dance. Her foray into the dance world brought her the role of Press Agent for the legendary modern choreographer Paul Taylor and his Company. After a decade at the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation as a Press Agent and Marketing Director, she launched her agency LL-PR Inc. This new adventure has allowed her to represent some of the brightest dance companies working today.

What makes her work successful is that she remains as close to the art as possible by spending most of her time in theaters - that way, she can effectively formulate stories and executive pitches. Lisa's holistic experience in public relations has made her a sought-after press agent for many organizations. Most recently, her experience with dance and luxury jewelry caught the eye of the Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels, where she coordinates dance-related press for the initiative. 

Before pivoting to dance, her career began in the fine jewelry and luxury industries as a public relations and marketing executive for prestigious firms, including Harry Winston, Asprey, Jacob & Co., and Platinum Guild International USA. 

Following that, Lisa worked for reputable consumer public relations agencies MWW, Rubenstein Public Relations, and Porter Novelli as Senior Vice President and Vice President. During this time, she managed press for prominent organizations such as McDonald’s New York Metro, Walmart, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, FAO Schwarz, Alicia Keys/Keep A Child Alive’s Black Ball charity gala, and the Rubin Museum of Art.
